NEW ALBUM! Conan Releasing Existential Void Guardian This August

Conan, known for their gargantuan and dominating sound, will be returning this August with a new album of what I’m sure will be obscenely thick riffs. Conan have always had a sound that stands a bit apart from thier heavy comrades, with howled vocals that almost take on a monastic tone at points, which if we’re being real is exactly what i need out of my doom metal. Of the new album guitarist and vocalist Jon Paul Davis said: ‘Existential Void Guardian expands upon our previous lyrical and conceptual ideas. Bringing the listener’s focus from the screens of our favourite arcade machines to the minds of the characters through who’s eyes we view the 2 dimensional plane. Chris Fielding produced this album at Skyhammer Studio and we had audio wizard James Plotkin handle the mastering again. Artwork will be by Tony Roberts.”
