NEW MOVIE! Uncork’d Entertainment To Distribute The Nursery

Uncork’d really help to keep the lower budget side of horror movies fuelled up and moving – the movies that might not have Patrick Wilson crooning Elvis songs to ghosts on an acoustic guitar or a ghost that cost half a million or more to design. Not everything can be high-budget all the time, and if it was you’d miss out on some good stuff that the genre has to offer. The Nursey is one such lower budget affair, describing itself as “When a damaged college sophomore babysits for a family with a tragic history, she finds herself stalked by a sinister presence and haunted by ghosts from her own past. Soon, she and her friends must confront the angry spirit hunting them down one-by-one on a deliberate march towards its ultimate prey.”

Citing landmarks such as Halloween, The House of the Devil and Phantasm as influences, i’m at least intrigured enoguh to take a look, if only the figure out where the Phantasm influence comes in. Does that mean you have an absurdly tall old man looming around creeping on everyone? Or are little Jawa looking bastards showing up in the night to do the characters in? I guess I’ll need to watch it and find out.

Follow The Nursery on Facebook and check out the trailer (with a clear absence of Tall Man. What the shit guys?) below:
