First off, props to these guys for going full bore on the outfits and imagery. I mean, look at that picture, all bullet-belted and corpse painted up like they are going to war with God. That dude on the far left looks like he’s ready to rip out at least ten angel hearts, minimum. Also, how long does it take to put on the singers intricate full body paint job?
Hailing from new world shores, US based Thy Antichrist have been spitting the antichrist message since 1998, recently signing with Napalm Records to further spread their black words. Drawing inspiration from The Great Beast himself, the band had this to say about their forthcoming album:
“We read Aleister Crowley’s wicked spell to awake an ancient evil pharaoh from the ashes of time, to condemn this modern world of chaos by the cursed hands of man. We invoke the Wrath of the Beast, the eclipsing star that rises from the east!”
Thy Antichrist will be embarking on a North American tour in early 2018 in support of Septic Flesh and Dark Funeral. Check out the preview and tour dates below and grab your copy of the new album here from Napalm Records
