There are plenty of ghost hunters, ghoul enthusiasts and lovers of all things creepy out there and here we’re taking a closer look at some of the creepiest, scariest attractions in America, is one of them the destination for your next spooky trip?
Witches of New Salem:
This nighttime tour is organized in Dorr, MI, where you will be warned by the witches of New Salem to enter at your own risk. You will take wild twists and turns on this tour, as you are constantly accompanied by scary corn stalkers. If you still haven’t had enough want even more terrifying thrills, you can also take the tour of “Witches Woods,” we dare you!
Dent Schoolhouse of Cincinnati:
This should teach the bullies a lesson! Everyone knows the legend Charlie ‘The Janitor’ at Dent School killed all the students who used to bully him back in 1950s. However, the legend has it that he still haunts the school today. What’s creepier? The town believes that all the missing children were killed here.
Pennsylvania’s Eastern State Penitentiary:
A prison is scary even if it is not haunted. However, this one is infamous for being one of the most haunted attractions in America. Sprawled over 11-acres, its empty cell blocks and sheer size is not only frightening, but also unnerving, especially if you spot something moving in behind the bars.
Eastern State Penitentiary’s Night Watch:
As if the day tour wasn’t enough, many daredevils take the thrills up a notch higher when they visit the scary 180-year-old facility with nothing more than a flashlight! Dozens of paranormal investigators swear that this facility is haunted. Care to explore ESP’s Night Watch?
The Queen Mary of Southern California:
Want some raw haunted action? Visit Southern California’s Queen Mary. This 12-deck ship packs a hair-raising experience for adventure seekers. Find your way out of 7 disturbing mazes, visit the “Dome of Doom” dance hall, get accosted by “fright mistress” and lots more.
The Beast of Kansas City:
If ghosts and invisible spooks are not your scene, then considered visiting The Beast in Kansas City, MO. The tour takes you to a creepy Louisiana plantation featuring a live alligator pit and a marshland filled with things you don’t want to know about.
